François Clerc
François Clerc was the first actor in a leading role in film history, having played the first comedy shooted by Lumiere Brothers, L'Arroseur arrosé. Clerc also appears in the movie The Arrival of a Train.
What we know about him is that he died in 1952 in a nursing home for old men in Montelimar, France. It was buried in the cemetery of Saint-Martin in Montboucher-sur-Jabron, a village of 2,000 inhabitants in the province of Montelimar.
